Whether you have taken your cooking skills to the limit or are celebrating a special occasion, this beautiful Crémant is the perfect start to an unforgettable evening! This bubble has so much flavor and depth that I always give myself time to enjoy it. Plus it's my girlfriend's favorite bubble, and believe me, it's critical. (I'm crazy about her)

The story for the slurpers

Domaine de Mouscaillo, located in Limoux, Languedoc-Roussillon, is managed by Marie-Claire and Pierre Fort. The vineyards are located at an altitude of 400 meters at the foot of the Pyrenees and benefit from influences from the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean, with cooling winds that contribute to freshness. Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Chenin Blanc thrive here on sandstone and clay soils, with vines up to 40 years old. The domain produces three wines: Limoux Blanc, Pinot Noir and Crémant de Limoux, all characterized by finesse and freshness.

The Crémant de Limoux is made according to the traditional method from chardonnay, pinot noir and chenin blanc. After harvest, the grapes undergo a light pressing, during which only the first juice is used. This juice undergoes the first fermentation in demi-muids and matures for another 9 months 'on the lie'. After 18 months of bottle aging and second fermentation, the wine is disgorged without dosage. This Crémant has a light color and rich aromas of citrus, white peach and honey, with fresh white fruit and a clean aftertaste. Perfect as an aperitif or with charcuterie and shellfish such as oysters.
